Commissions

Adrian Cook accepts a limited number of portrait commissions each year throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Working with film, Polaroid and the wet plate collodion processes, each sitting is tailored to the individual and designed to create photographs that will endure for generations.

Studio Portraits

Created in a simple, controlled environment where the focus remains entirely on the subject. Working with film, Polaroid and the historic wet plate collodion process, these sittings draw inspiration from the traditions of Irving Penn, Richard Avedon, Erwin Blumenfeld and David Bailey. Suitable for individuals, couples, families, artists, musicians, authors and professional portraits.

Reportage Portrait Sessions

A more observational approach to portraiture. Rather than directing every moment, these commissions unfold naturally in homes, workplaces or meaningful locations, creating a personal record of individuals, couples and families through authentic, unscripted photographs.
